Photon Doppler Velocimetry (PDV)At The Ohio State University seven of these systems have been created. These are the maximum speed capabilities of each of the seven systems created by The Impulse Manufacturing Lab.

- Ohio State University: 1.5 km/s and 2.5 km/s (frequency upshift available)

- University of Waterloo: 1.5 km/s

- Protective group: Miami, Florida: 1.5 km/s

- University of New Hampshire: 1.5 km/s

- Technical University of Dortmund: 1.5 km/s

- B-Max Teluse-France: 1.5 km/s (frequency upshift available)

- 2 GHz digital storage oscilloscope
